The venerable and much loved Fairey Swordfish - one of the unsung heroes of WWII. Regarded as obsolete at the onset of hostilities it went on to outlive aircraft designed to replace it and provided sterling service in all theatres throughout the war. It sank a greater tonnage of enemy shipping than any other British aircraft. We maintain the last two flying examples in the world (W5856 & LS326) here at our hangar at RNAS Yeovilton.
