For centuries clocks were vital to the survival of any ocean going ship. If you didn't know the exact time, you couldn't calculate your position. You were lost. It seems very appropriate therefore, to present some stunning clocks which incorporate rare components from Fleet Air Arm aircraft.
These are handmade and designed to be a stylish marriage of modern aero-engineering, the natural beauty of wood and the centuries old elegance of a skeleton clock
We will be introducing a number of dramatic designs utilising different components in aesthetically pleasing and practical ways.
These items are handmade to order and the wood is carefully chosen for the beauty of its grain. DESIGNS AND WOODS MAY VARY , PARTICULARLY WITH THE DESK CLOCK, TO ALLOW THE WOOD TO BE SHOWN TO ITS BEST ADVANTAGE. EACH PIECE IS UNIQUE.
Large wall clocks include elements from the brake unit of a de Havilland Sea Vixen. The retaining rings on desk and smaller wall clocks are from its undercarriage.
There may be a short delay in despatch.
Wood responds adversely to rapid changes in temperature and/or humidity. We strongly recommend placing these items out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources like radiators etc.
